Jerry Lynn Phillips, age 68 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 19, 2020.  He was a member of East Jacksboro Baptist Church. Jerry enjoyed H.A.M. radios, fishing, and he loved to sing and play his guitar. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh and he also loved helping people.

He is preceded in death by father Thomas “TJ” Phillips and mother Edna Walden Phillips, and sister Joan Lowell. Grandparents Rev. Cillis Russell and Dora Walden Russell

Jerry is survived by his wife Linda Phillips of LaFollette, sons Jerry Lynn Phillips, Jr. of Warren, OH, daughter Jackie DeChellis and husband James of Austin Town, OH, Stepsons Jeremy Myers and wife Rebecca of LaFollette and Donald Johnson and wife Jennifer of Jacksboro, grandmother Geneva Russell Bolinger, sisters Janet Poole of Jacksboro and Joyce Ellison and husband Bud of LaFollette. Eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday December 22, 2020 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral to follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Johnny  Vanover and Rev. Todd Overbay officiating.  Burial will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
