LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – For a second-straight year and now multiple times, the Pierce Furniture Gallery has been voted Campbell County’s “Best Appliance Store.”

Pierce Furniture Gallery is between Stop Lights 8 & 9 in Downtown La Follette.

The La Follette Press’s annual Readers Choice Awards promotion encourages readers to vote for their favorite businesses in many different categories. For 2020, the Pierce Furniture Gallery received the most votes once again declaring it the “Best Appliance Store.”

Ron Pierce has been working at Pierce Furniture Gallery since he was in high school. His father, the late Carl Pierce, founded the business in the 1950s.
Pierce Furniture is open Monday through Saturday.

“We won again,” said Ron Pierce, owner of the Pierce Furniture Gallery. “I’d like to thank all of our customers for voting for us again this year. It’s quite an honor,” added Pierce.

Pierce Furniture Gallery was founded by the late Carl Pierce in 1952. The store began as Pierce and Sharp on North Tennessee Avenue. Later, Pierce relocated to East Central Avenue next to the viaduct as the Carl Pierce Furniture and Appliance Company. In the 1990s, the name was changed to Pierce Furniture Gallery and moved next door to its viaduct locale in the former Myers Discount building.

Pierce Furniture Gallery was voted “Best Appliance Store” for a second straight year.

The store has been the local dealer for General Electric for decades. Ashley Furniture is one of the lines of furniture the store features along with bedding and free local delivery and service.
