Reva Mae Jones turned 100-years old in August.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – It was only four months and six days ago that we were celebrating a very special lady’s 100th birthday. However, today, we mourn with her family after hearing the news that Reva Mae Jones passed away this morning.

Reva Mae told us back on August 12 when she became a centurion, “my mother lived to be 101 years old, but I had no idea I’d ever live to be this old.” Reva was born August 12, 1920, at the one-time Block Coal Mining Camp near Caryville and didn’t venture too far from her birth place all those 100-years.  She also lived at Stony Fork but has resided at Caryville for the better part of her days.

Cross-Smith Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Reva Mae Jones. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/18/2020-3:30PM)
