LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Kentucky man, Billy Jay Randolph (photo below), wanted in the stabbing death of Donnie Bryant.

Bryant’s body was found down an embankment on Cedar Creek Road outside La Follette nearly three weeks ago.

Randolph, 48, is wanted by the TBI for Criminal Homicide out of Campbell County. Randolph should be considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as a 5′11 white male with green eyes and brown hair.

Over the weekend, family members said to WLAF News that they “have no idea why” the 43-year-old Bryant, of Williamsburg, was found in Campbell County or what had happened.  According to one family member, the last time they saw him alive was the night before his body was found. He had allegedly stopped by to borrow $20 to purchase his blood pressure medication.

Bryant’s body was discovered by a passerby down an embankment on Cedar Creek Road around 4:51 pm on Tues., Nov. 17. According to one WLAF source, Bryant had stab wounds and was found between Cedar Creek Baptist Church and Freddy’s Market.

The consensus among those close to Bryant and his family is that a “stolen car is at the crux of the case.” “We have been left with more questions than answers about what happened and what’s going on with the investigation. We just want justice for Donnie,” said one of Bryant’s aunts.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/03/2020-6AM)
