George Harold Hooks, age 83, of Caryville, born March 9, 1937, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020. George loved to hunt, fish, garden, and collect his coins. He retired from Austin Powder Co. Preceded in death by wife of 43 years, Pansy Hooks; parents, George and Erma Hooks; grandson, Brandon Phillips; sons-in-law, Victor Phillips and Randy Comer.

Daughters: Debbie (Joe) Petree, Haroldyn (Lynn) Phillips, Faye Comer, Philimina (Junior) Reese, Georgia Kitts and Pansy Phillips

Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM Sunday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Peabody Cemetery for 11 AM Graveside Service and Interment.
