LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The founder and owner of Kash-n-Karry Building Supply passed away over the weekend. J.B. Leach, a fixture in the business community for decades, was a man who loved people and lived life to the fullest.

The 79-year- old Leach died on Saturday just a week after his good friend and former Kash-n-Karry employee Ronnie Wilson passed away.

Kash-n-Karry provided the ideal backdrop for the personable Leach who thrived on interacting with people whether it be with a customer, employee or salesman. The La Follette High School graduate was always quick to talk sports especially about his beloved Tennessee Vols.

J.B. Leach’s hearty laugh, big grin and eagerness to strike up a conversation will be sorely missed.

Leach was a dedicated individual from friendships to business to his community and church. He was a 55-year member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church and invested more than 34-years of his life into the South Indiana Avenue building supply store. Above all, he set the benchmark for grandfathers. He led by example and, as a result, was adored by his grandchildren.

Due to recent family illness, the date of interment has been moved to Friday, November 27, 2020, at 1:00 P.M. at Fincastle Methodist Church Cemetery   A Celebration of Life will be held at Cedar Hill Baptist Church on Tues., Dec. 1, from 5 pm until 7 pm.

Walters Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family of J.B. Leach. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/16/2020-6AM)
