PIONEER, TN (WLAF) – A Pioneer man was arrested on multiple charges, including drugs and possession of guns and counterfeit currency after a “confidential tip” sparked the investigation that resulted in a search warrant.

According to a Campbell County Sheriff’s Department press release, Michael Joseph Muse, 23, was arrested on Nov. 2 after the Campbell County Sheriff’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team, with assistance from the Eighth Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Muse’s Elk Fork Road home.

The search warrant was obtained following a confidential tip. According to the sheriff’s report, this tip sparked an investigation in which investigators made multiple buys of Schedule II controlled substances, believed to be Methamphetamine, from the mobile home.

Four people at this home were taken to jail.

During the search, investigators located multiple narcotics including Schedule II controlled substance, likely to be Methamphetamine, Schedule IV controlled substance, thought to be Xanax, Schedule VI controlled substance, believed to be Marijuana, a felony amount of drug paraphernalia, multiple handguns, an altered shotgun, cash, and counterfeit currency during the search of the residence.

Muse was arrested on scene on multiple charges including Possession of Schedule II controlled substance for resale, Possession of Schedule IV controlled substances for resale, and Possession of Schedule VI controlled substances for resale.

Tyler Mancini, 22, was arrested on outstanding warrants.
