JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Director of the Campbell County Veteran Services Office Kevin Walden wants you to know that Wednesday’s Veterans program is cancelled due to the high chance of showers and thunderstorms. 

“Inclement weather will draw folks attending closer together under shelter and under trees and umbrellas etc., and we want to encourage social distancing and decrease chances of  spreading COVID-19,” said Walden.

Saturday’s Veteran event at Jellico is still a go this Saturday at 1pm.  The ceremony includes full veteran honors and special speaker State Representative Dennis Powers.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/09/2020-1PM)
