Robert Lee McGhee, age 83, of Washburn, formerly of Caryville, passed away on Saturday November 7, 2020. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and retired from the Department of Defense after 25 years. He was also on the Clinch River Region Board of Directors. He is preceded in death by wife: Peggy Sue Mance McGhee, parents: Wiley Lee and Nora Dowell McGhee, brothers: Wiley McGhee Jr., Dugan McGhee, Bill McGhee, Don McGhee and Mack McGhee

Family will receive friends 1-2 PM Thursday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral service to follow at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel. Interment to follow Funeral service at Harness Cemetery in Caryville.
