LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)-  On the night of Oct. 22, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of Aurielle Marie Longmire and Mark Anthony Perkins at 183 Easter Lane, LaFollette. This is the second search warrant executed at this residence.

The search warrant came on the heels of an ongoing investigation in which investigators made an undercover narcotics buy of methamphetamine.

The first search warrant executed at the home was on June 24 after investigators made several undercover buys of methamphetamine and Suboxone.

During this raid, investigators located what they believe to be Suboxone, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia during the search of the residence.

Both Longmire and Perkins will have their case presented to the grand jury. The charges will be sell/delivery of schedule II controlled substance, sell/delivery of schedule III controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

“Our narcotics unit has been working full force over the last several months to counter the drug problem that our nation faces,” said Sheriff Robbie Goins. “We will continue to be relentless in our investigations. I want the drug dealers in Campbell County to know that we will not stop coming for you. You may not be caught today or tomorrow but the clock is ticking.  If you want to make a living, you need to do it the right way.  I will not allow you to continue to poison the streets of Campbell County.” (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED -10/27/2020-6AM)
