LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Edward Jones Financial Advisor Zach Sheets 8th annual school supply drive moved into the delivery stage this week.   Clients, friends and anyone wanting to help have been dropping off school supplies since August at Sheets North Massachusetts Avenue office.

Sheets traditionally collects supplies and delivers them to all of the county’s elementary schools.  WLAF caught up with Sheets on Thursday morning when he made a stop at La Follette Elementary School.

Supplies lined the wall in Sheets office before he began delivering supplies to the schools.

“We never have enough supplies.  There’s always someone needing something,” said LES Principal Bob Walden.

Sheets is in tune with the elementary schools.  His approach with this drive is to be able to come back into the schools after school has been going for a few weeks to help those students who may be short a supply or two or missed out on the big supply drives before the school year started.

Here are some of the supplies Sheets left in Principal Walden’s office on Thursday.

“We greatly appreciate Zach’s donations.” said Walden.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/09/2020-6AM)
