CARYVILLE, TN. (WLAF)- A three month long undercover operation conducted by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of three people.

On Friday, the undercover operation developed into the arrest of the suspected heroin dealers. The arrests stemmed from a traffic stop conducted by investigators on Queener Road in Caryville. The suspects have been the center of an ongoing narcotics investigation that has been happening for the last three months. Investigators deployed K-9 Deputy Santo who alerted to the vehicle the suspects were driving.

A large amount of schedule I controlled substance, believed to be heroin, and schedule VI controlled substance, thought to be marijuana, were recovered.  As a result of the investigation, a vehicle and cash were also seized.

Arrested as part of the operation were:

-Patrick Van-Terrance Little who was charged with driving on suspended license, criminal impersonation (giving a false name to investigators), conspiracy to sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance, believed to be heroin, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of schedule VI controlled substance, conspiracy to destroy/tamper evidence and tampering with evidence. Little, 25, who lists a homeless shelter at Loudon as his address, has no bond and is due in court on Oct. 15.

-Demetrice Antwan Taylor, 28, of Knoxville, was charged with conspiracy to sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance, believed to be heroin, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of schedule VI controlled substance, conspiracy to destroy/tamper evidence, and tampering with evidence. Taylor has no bond and is due in court on Oct. 15

-Jasmine Marie McClain, 23, of Knoxville, was charged with conspiracy to sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance, believed to be heroin, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of schedule VI controlled substance, introduction of contraband into a penal facility.

“These arrests are the product of a diligent undercover operation,” said Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins. “Patience was key in making these arrests and we are glad to see these drugs off the street.”  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED- 10/06/2020- 6AM)
