JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – If you missed Friday’s Campbell football game at Powell or you would like to see it again, CLICK HERE and watch it on demand from the WLAF – Doyle’s Tire Shop Sports Network.

During the Price Era at Cambell County High School, there have been some thrilling football games between the Cougars and the Powell Panthers.  Tonight’s match-up is expected to be no different with the second ranked Panthers host Campbell in a 7:30 pm kick-off.   CLICK on the Lindsay’s Carpet & Paint Center video player to WATCH the game live from WLAF.

This is a Region 3 match-up as Campbell stands 3 & 3.  Powell is unbeaten through six outings and is the second ranked team in the state.

The Campbell-Powell series has weighed heavily in favor of Campbell during the Price Era with the Cougars winning four of six.  The Panthers won last season at Jacksboro by a final of 49 to 6.

Weather features a cool feel for tonight’s game at Powell.  It’ll be 57-degrees at kick-off and then 51-degrees by the fourth quarter.  Gentle breezes will make for a chilly feel for many.  Long sleeves, a jacket or even a blanket will likely be welcome companions at the game.

Les Martin, the man who has broadcast the most ever Cougar wins, will be joined by color analyst Brent Allen.  WLAF will provide live coverage of Campbell and Karns over the WLAF-Doyle’s Tire Sports Network beginning at 7:00 pm on this Thursday night.  On radio, tune-in to either AM 1450 or FM 100.9.  For the live telecast, connect to www.1450wlaf.com, WLAF-TV 12, Roku TV, Amazon Firestick, Facebook or YouTube.

WLAF was there broadcasting live when former Vol Rodney Harkleroad’s 1975 inaugural Cougar Football Team took to Blankenship Field at Oak Ridge.  Here in Season 46, WLAF is gearing up for another broadcast season of Campbell County High.

WLAF first began televising live coverage of Campbell County High School Sports in 2011.  Now, in its 10th season of providing CCHS on TV, WLAF is back on  Roku TV, Amazon Firestick, YouTube and Facebook over its Doyle’s Tire Sports Network.  Cougar games also air over AM 1450 and FM 100.9 on radio and WLAF-TV 12 as well as over www.1450wlaf.com.
