JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – If you missed Friday’s Campbell football game at Powell or you would like to see it again, CLICK HERE and watch it on demand from the WLAF – Doyle’s Tire Shop Sports Network.
During the Price Era at Cambell County High School, there have been some thrilling football games between the Cougars and the Powell Panthers. Tonight’s match-up is expected to be no different with the second ranked Panthers host Campbell in a 7:30 pm kick-off. CLICK on the Lindsay’s Carpet & Paint Center video player to WATCH the game live from WLAF.
This is a Region 3 match-up as Campbell stands 3 & 3. Powell is unbeaten through six outings and is the second ranked team in the state.
The Campbell-Powell series has weighed heavily in favor of Campbell during the Price Era with the Cougars winning four of six. The Panthers won last season at Jacksboro by a final of 49 to 6.
Weather features a cool feel for tonight’s game at Powell. It’ll be 57-degrees at kick-off and then 51-degrees by the fourth quarter. Gentle breezes will make for a chilly feel for many. Long sleeves, a jacket or even a blanket will likely be welcome companions at the game.
Les Martin, the man who has broadcast the most ever Cougar wins, will be joined by color analyst Brent Allen.
