LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)-  Tuesday, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at 513 College Hill Rd in LaFollette. It was the third search warrant executed at the home.

This search warrant came as a result of multiple citizen complaints that spurred an eight months long investigation into alleged drug activity. Investigators completed multiple undercover purchases of schedule II controlled substances, believed to be methamphetamine, and schedule I controlled substances thought to be heroin, the report said.

Once inside the home, investigators found what they believe to methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, Xanax and drug paraphernalia during the search of the residence.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the operation by the Eighth Judicial District Drug Task Force.

“The public had a large part in these arrests. Vigilant citizens noticed suspicious activity at the home and called us,” said Sheriff Robbie Goins. “We appreciate it when the public does that.”
