CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Beginning between 8:30 am and 9 am Wednesday morning, Ridge Road at Caryville will be closed the balance of the day so repairs can be made to the road according to Town of Caryville officials.  Officials say the time frame will allow morning commuters to not be slowed down heading to work or school.

This is where a new culvert will be put in place on Wednesday on Ridge Road.

A culvert will be replaced on the much traveled road between the four lane and Lake View Road.

Ridge Road connects to the four lane at the south Cove Lake bridge.

Traffic will be detoured around the construction site onto Lake View Road.  That road connects with Dogwood Road.  Traffic from the four lane can take Dogwood Road, at the Hampton Inn, and then onto Lake View Road and over to Ridge Road.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/16/2020-6AM)
