Emma Jean Cooper Long, age 88 of Knoxville formerly of LaFollette passed away on Saturday August 29, 2020.She was a loving wife of 57 years to Bill Cooper and a caring companion to husband Charles Long for 8 Years, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, quilting, playing the piano for Grantsboro church, where she was a member for over 70 years, and playing the piano anywhere the opportunity arose, Emma loved the Lord with all her heart and shared her testimony with everyone she met.

Preceded in death by; Husband, Bill Cooper, second husband Charles Long, brothers, Charles, Millard, Paul, Dewey, infant Jerry, infant Creed, and infant unnamed, sisters, Sally Nelson, Callie Richardson and infants Cleo and Mary Nelson, great great grandchild Hadley Cooper.

Survived by Sons; Larry Cooper and Kathie of Texas, Ted Cooper and Marilyn of Knoxville, brothers; Wheeler Nelson, 90 years old of Michigan and Robert Nelson, 91 years old of Loudon, Tn, grandchildren; Michelle Martin and Scott of Rocky Top, Chris Cooper and Christy of Caryville, Lori Dunn of Knoxville, Billy Cooper and Tanya of Claxton, Eric McKinney and Peggy of Norris, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday August 31, 2020 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will be at 7:00 with Rev. David Goins and Bro. Jerry Dagley officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:00 noon at Martin Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday September 1, 2020 and go in procession to Grantsboro cemetery for 1:00 pm interment.
