Allen is the WLAF – Gray Insurance “Player of the Week”

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell Junior running back-defensive back C.J. Allen is this week’s WLAF – Gray Insurance “Player of the Week.”

C.J. finished last Friday’s 29-3 win at Newport over Cocke County with four receptions for 51-yards and 15 carries totaling 57-yards.  On the other side of the ball, Allen picked off two Fighting Cocke passes returning one of his interceptions for a touchdown.  Aside from those stats, perhaps the play of the game or the turning point of the game was when Allen battled for a first down on a fourth down play.  That drive eventually led to a CCHS touchdown.
