Bernice Wicks Cupp, age 65 of Heiskell

Bernice Wicks Cupp, age 65 of Heiskell, passed away on August 21, 2020 at the North Knoxille Medical Center. She was born November 5, 1954 in LaFollette to the late Hillman and Juanita (Lawson) Wicks. Bernice was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her 20 year old cat, Lucky.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her twin sister, Beatrice Wicks Darr.

Bernice is survived by her son, Albert Lee Cupp of Heiskell; daughter, Annita K.  Rutherford and husband, Charles of LaFollette; brother, H.L. Wicks of Heiskell;  grandchildren, Maria Lee Ann Gibson and husband, Chris and Courtney Lynn Rutherford; great grandson, Cameron Gibson; special family, Bernice Sue Bolton and Juanita Wicks; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Lemarr Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Ellison officiating.
