Mr. Barry L. Chitwood

Age 64, passed away August 19, 2020.  He was born March 3, 1956 in Jellico, TN to George & Rachel (Davenport) Chitwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings, Merle, Sandra and Doris.

Surviving is the love of his life, Christine (Walls) Chitwood, 1 daughter, Brenda (Stacy), 4 grandchildren, Thomas, Daniel, Ashley and John.  Also surviving is 1 great-grandchild, Amelia and 6 siblings, John, Dewayne, Dallin, Janice, Irma and Rhonda.

Barry was a truck driver for over 4 years at Black Horse Carrier.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting guns and gardening.

Per his wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.

​In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
