LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Since losing their son, father and grandfather, a grateful Campbell family wishes to expresses its appreciation to you and for all you did for them during Jeff Campbell’s journey through cancer to his final days.

Jeff Campbell, who was employed at Powell-Clinch Utility District (PCUD) and a member of the Chaska Church of God, passed away on August 5.

Jeff’s mother, Francis, called the WLAF Trading Post last week expressing her appreciation and thanks on behalf of the Campbell family.  She especially wanted to thank Jeff’s co-workers at PCUD who came to Jeffery’s bedside and prayed even when he was diagnosed with cancer.  He beat cancer three times prior to this last battle. “I’ve never seen a company with so much compassion as they have for each other.  It takes the meaning of brotherhood to a whole different level,” said Francis.

Fellow PCUD employees lined North Indiana Avenue on Saturday morning, August 8, to honor Jeff.

Francis and her husband, Frances, send a special thanks to everyone who cooked meals, came and prayed with them and most importantly backed Jeffery while he fought his fight with cancer.  “Thanks to the funeral home, Martin-Wilson, for a beautiful service, and last but certainly not least PCUD for everything over our son’s entire career.  Words cannot express how moved and humbled we are by the support they have showed,” said Francis

The Campbell family sends lots of love and prays a blessing over everyone who helped them during their hard time.  God Bless all of you.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 08/20/2020-6AM)

  1. Jeff was a great friend and neighbor to me over the last 5-1/2 years. He is truly missed. Strange looking up the hill and knowing that he is not there anymore.
