NASHVILLE, TN (WLAF) – The Tennessee Legislature was called into a Special Session by Governor Bill Lee this week starting on Monday.  State Representative Dennis Powers said, “During this time, the legislature accomplished three major goals.

The first is “Put an end to frivolous and politically motivated COVID 19 lawsuits. ”  The second is “Expanded access to healthcare through Telehealth Legislation.”  The last and third accomplishment is “Stand with law enforcement by passing tougher penalties against rioters.”
