LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – If you’ve been up the valley recently, you may have wondered.  What is that do-hickey?   Well, WLAF’s Charlie Hutson is glad you asked.
This little triangle do-hickey is  where TDOT takes a GPS reading for its survey work needed for the widening of Hwy 63-The General Carl W. Stiner Highway.  These start near La Follette city limits and go for several miles up the valley.
