Derrick Wayne Wilhoit, age 27, of Jacksboro departed this life on Thursday July 23, 2020. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend that enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing, playing guitar and talking about race cars.

Survived by father, Gerald Wayne Wilhoit and stepmother Jamie Wilhoit, mother, Jennifer Roddy and stepfather, Luther Roddy, brother, Brandon Hatmaker and wife Chelsie, stepbrothers, Blake Elkins, Brandon Elkins and Brett Elkins all of LaFollette, sisters, Ashley Roddy of Caryville, Tori Wilhoit of LaFollette, Whitney Brewer and husband Eric of Ohio, nieces Kallie and Paisley Hatmaker, Adley Pearson, Abigail Brewer, nephews, Jacob Pearson, Eric Brewer, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm Friday July 31, 2020 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am on Saturday August 1, 2020 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home and go in procession to Chadwell cemetery in LaFollette for a 11:00 am interment.
