CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Codes issues were discussed again at Monday night’s monthly meeting for the Town of Caryville.   Alderwoman Vickie Heatherly and Alderman Eric Jones discussed the progress of the new codes officer Lisa Crumpley.  However, they had a couple of issues they would like to see addressed, Jones discussed Main Street and the need to address commercial and residential codes equally.  Heatherly voiced her concern about an area neighborhood that had a few issues that needed to be addressed.

First reading of Ordinance 2020-02 amending the annual operating budget for fiscal year 2019-20 was completed.  This was discussed as general housekeeping.

TML, the Public Entity Partners Safety Grant 50/50 match, was approved and is done on a yearly basis.

Town attorney Adam Bullock’s legal services agreement was approved at the same amount as last year’s agreement.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/14/2020-6AM)
