LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Spay Campbell County is hosting a Summer virtual 5K fundraiser to benefit local spay and neuter programs for Campbell County.  The virtual 5K is part of the Runners Stay Strong Virtual Race Series.   Multiple virtual races are being organized across the nation to help local non profits, which are seeing decreased donations due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus interfering with fundraisers. Join a fun run, at your own pace, place and time, and help this local non profit help local Campbell County animals.  Online registration and race time is from July 4-11.  It is $15 to register, with 100 percent of the registration fees going to SpayCC. Their is an optional “swag package” that includes a T-shirt and more for an additional $15. Registration for the fundraiser closes July 11 at 10 p.m. All registrants must run their virtual race by 11:59 p.m. July 11. Registrants may begin running July 4 at noon.
