JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – In a release on Wednesday afternoon, Campbell County Mayor E.L. Morton announces that the courthouse is reopening on Friday.

On Friday June 26, 2020, the Campbell County Courthouse will be open with no temperature checks.  Nursing temperature checks end at the close of business Thursday, June 25, 2020.  Social distancing, hand washing, masks and hand sanitizer remain recommended and elected officials may implement specific measures for their individual offices to protect the public and our workers.  These measures may include limiting the number of service windows available or limiting access to one-at-a-time service in offices.  I ask for patience as we transition, as we may encounter unforeseen delays and adjustments as operations resume.
The county emergency will expire at midnight, this Friday, June 26th.  Governor Lee’s emergency declaration expires June 30th.
Thank you to everyone for your cooperation through this emergency and continued action to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  The Campbell County Health Department remains ready with COVID-19 tests by appointment at 423-562-8351.
