LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – La Follette Mayor Mike Stanfield and members of the La Follette City Council proclaim today, June 23, as “Jim Mullens Day” in La Follette. Mullens is set to retire from his post as the city’s public works director on June 30.

In the proclamation, it is written that “his more than 13-years of service have been marked by exemplary dedication to the best interests of the community.  Mullens has worked constantly for the betterment of the La Follette Public Works system which contributes to the health, safety and comfort of this community.”

The mayor said, “We’re planning a luncheon  today in honor of Jim thanking him for all he’s done for the city.”  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/23/2020-6AM)
