LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – For the time being, basketball is on the back burner for budding high school star Dalton Brown.  Number 23 in the Blue-n-Grey for J. Frank White Academy at Harrogate is busy battling leukemia, and he could use some help. MEDIC will be in Dalton’s hometown on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm at the First Baptist Church of La Follette and is ready to accept your donation in Dalton Brown’s name.  Your donation will help offset some of the costs incurred during his fight.

This is a replacement blood drive for Dalton and is an ideal time to show your support for Dalton and his family, and be a hero.

All you need to do when you check in is say that you are donating for Dalton Brown.  You can park right beside the door, walk right in and then walk right back out about a half-hour later.

Dalton and his mom (Amanda) and dad (David) enjoyed Dalton’s surprise birthday parade back on May 30.

MEDIC continues to follow social distancing guidelines and will continue wellness checks upon entry at all locations.

All donors will receive a MEDIC gift and Texas Roadhouse coupon good for a free appetizer.

You can schedule an appointment HERE for Dalton’s Blood Drive or by calling 865.524.3074.  Walk ins are welcome.  However, priority is given to those with appointments.
