JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Town of Jacksboro Municipal Building remains closed to the public. Accident reports and other business can be brought to the front door by town staff when requested by a call in advance for needed items.

At its monthly meeting last Thursday, the board of mayor and aldermen voted to hire Tristan Nelson as an auxiliary fireman. Avery Burden was appointed to the Caryville-Jacksboro Utility Commission Board.

The board decided to accept bids for the sale of a two-ton street department truck and the old garbage truck. In the final business, the library was given permission to donate four computers to the Campbell County School System.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/08/2020-6AM)
