Yard sale items will include: ladies new bathing suits, Halloween costumes, new and used clothes, miscellaneous items, children’s water games and more. All items were donated by family and friends.
According to food pantry volunteers, all proceeds from the yard sale will be used to purchase food and pay utilities at the ministry’s building. Monetary donations will also be accepted. The food pantry continues to see a rise in the local need for food due to high unemployment numbers from the Corona virus COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on the economy.
The pantry welcomes food donations of all kinds. Donations must be unopened and within date. Monetary donations are needed as well to pay utilities and other bills for the non-profit. Monetary donations can be made to help with food purchases, too. As a non-profit, Open Arms gets a tax discount and also has the ability to buy in bulk. Donations are tax deductible.
