Kenneth Edward Goins, beloved husband and treasured father, age 68, of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 4, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth O. Goins.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Goins, wife, Deborah Goins, his daughters, Brenda (Steven) Miracle, and Sheila (John) Tarwater, brother, David (Bobbi) Goins, sister, Judy (James) Rastovsky, grandchildren: Brianna (Jamie) Matthews, Bethany Hopkins, Joshua, Benjamin, John Mark, Abigail, Rachel, David, Hannah, Stephen, Lydia, and Rebekah Tarwater, 3 great-grandchildren: Ian, Cora, and Rylee, aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous friends.

Ken was born in Hammond, Indiana. He was a military police sergeant in the United States Air Force with an honorable discharge after four years of service. He worked as a machinist for 42 years. He was a gifted carpenter. Ken and his wife, Deborah, enjoyed a loving marriage of 47 years. He was a man of integrity who lived his life honorably. He was a generous man who loved the Lord, his family and had an admiration for God’s creation.

Family and friends will meet to celebrate the life of Ken Goins on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Cross-Smith Funeral home in Lafollette, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 1-2 with the funeral following. Internment will be at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by Campbell County Honor Guard.
