LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – In a release from Pyro Shows, Pyro Shows, together with the leaders of Campbell County, would like to salute healthcare workers, first responders, essential workers, and all citizens of Campbell County for uniting and standing strong during the uncertain and challenging times we have faced over the last months.  We want to “Celebrate Campbell County” and safely salute everyone’s exceptional fortitude and determination for protecting Campbell County during some grueling months of a worldwide pandemic.

Friday, June 5th at 9:45 PM, there will be 6 firework shows positioned across the county, set to music and all fired at the same time!  Locations in Downtown LaFollette, mid-LaFollette near the Roane State campus, Norris Lake at Springs Dock, near Jacksboro Elementary School, Caryville near Cove Lake and Downtown Jellico.  This special multi-position firework celebration is the first of its kind in this area.

Pyro Shows celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019.

Pyro Shows wants the county to feel celebrated and encouraged while having the ability to enjoy fireworks while remaining safely distanced. The best way we can accomplish that is by making it possible for folks to watch fireworks at the same time from their front yards, back porches, driveways, and various parking lots all across the county.  Pyro Shows created a way that Campbell Countians will have many, many (many) viewing options that may be seen from residential areas as well as from businesses across the county.  Local county radio stations WLAF LaFollette (100.9 FM & 1450 AM) and WJJT Jellico (105.9 FM & 1540 AM) are making it possible for folks to tune-in and hear the soundtrack that has been choreographed to the fireworks!

Pyro Shows 4th of July show from 2019.

So remember to look to the skies on Friday, June 5th at 9:45 PM, as Campbell County is honored with the first of its kind –  SIX firework shows simultaneously launched that will help keep you safely distanced at your personal comfort level.  We look forward to Celebrating Campbell County!  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/03/2020-8:30AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
