TOP PHOTO:  The Campbell County Rural Fire Service was called out to a car on fire call right after sunset Wednesday.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service responded to a car fire on Wednesday night just before dark.

It took firefighters with the CCRFS just a few minutes to extinguish a Wednesday night car fire. 

At 8:42 pm last night, crews from the CCRFS responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Grantsboro Road.  Upon arrival, they found a car sitting about 30-feet from a barn with heavy fire coming from the engine of the Buick.  Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the car.  There were no injuries.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/28/2020-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF CCRFS ASSISTANT CHIEF DANIEL LAWSON)
