LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The first female mayor to serve the City of La Follette has died.  The family of former Mayor Lucy Lobertini confirmed to WLAF News that Mrs. Lobertini passed away around midnight Wednesday morning.

Lobertini was elected to serve from 2001 to 2004.

Current La Follette Mayor Mike Stanfield said, “She was the best mayor this city has ever had.”
