LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It seems many organizations randomly and too often become targets of a spoofer.  Today was the La Follette Utilities Board’s turn to be a target.If you have received a phone call or postcard today regarding a past due balance, it was not from La Follette Utilities. LUB has had customers report that they had either been called by an out of area number or received a postcard telling them they were past due. This was not from the LUB office.
