Lincoln Stephen Bolinger entered his heavenly home April 27, 2020. He was born July 12,1941 in Medford, Tennessee to Lincoln Price and Ruth Wilson Bolinger. He spent much of his time growing up on his grandparent’s, John and Ocie (Sievers) Bolinger farm in Tennessee. Eventually he moved to Cleveland, Ohio and finally settled in Lancaster, Ohio.

Lincoln was a truck driver for 30 years, working for Roadway Express, Jones Transfer and retiring from NW. He earned several safe driver awards throughout his career. He was a member of Teamsters Local 413. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lancaster, Ohio. In his younger years he was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church, Rocky Top, Tennessee and had a favorite Sunday school teacher, Dorsey Fritts. He enjoyed gospel and blue grass music, and he was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Volunteers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents Isaac and Elizabeth (Richardson) Wilson, sister Mary Kite, brother Howard Bolinger and infant brother Ray Bolinger.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Dena (Mayes) Bolinger, children: Stephen (Lucinda) Bolinger of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Vickie Bolinger of DeLand, Florida; Linda (Luke) Tse of Cedarville, Ohio; and Libby (Tim) Neely of Sunbury, Ohio; grandchildren: Jessica (Taylor) Cronise, Daniel Dubberly, Ethan Neely, Austin Neely and Christina Tse; great-grandchildren: Lawton Cooke, Ansley Cronise and Clayton Dubberly; brother Woody (Diane) Bolinger; sisters Fay (Larry) Harter and Carolyn Lewallen; many nieces, nephews and cousins; dear cousins, David Webster, Willie Ruth Parks, Paul Young, Wilma (Young) Ellis, Stanley Young and Marti McIntosh; and longtime friends John and Sue Duncan.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 3, 2020, 2 PM at Clinch River Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Larry Webster and Dr. Luke Tse officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
