CHATTANOOGA, TN (WLAF) – La Follette Utilities Board’s eight-man crew has dealt with cold winds and temps around freezing this week as it works to help restore power to Chattanoogans.  Today, in its fifth day on scene, the crew is working in a chilly rain.

Rain gear is the order of the day today for LUB crew members as they continue restoring power.

LUB General Manager Kenny Baird thought early last week that this crew might be needed until at least Tuesday of next week.  Seven members of this same LUB crew were in Scott County helping restore power there on Tuesday, April 14, before leaving for Hamilton County the next morning.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/19/2020-11AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF LUB GM KENNY BAIRD)
