East La Follette Baptist Church joined other local churches ringing the church bell at 10 am.  ELBC member Wendell Boshears did the bell ringing honors Sunday morning.

La Follette Mayor Mike Stanfield requested churches to ring their bells Easter morning at 10 am to show unity in the community.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – COVID-19 has created some challenges for churches with people staying home to help rid the virus.  Last Sunday morning, during the live stream, East La Follette Baptist’s Pastor Zach said that he missed seeing his church family, missed them being at church in their normal seat but most of all their smiling faces.

So, on Easter Sunday morning 2020, nearly 100 smiling faces were at the morning service, maybe not in body, but in spirit and pictures.
