NASHVILLE, TN (WLAF) – State Representative Dennis Powers offers the latest information on the Coronavirus from a state standpoint.  The Tennessee House of Representatives was updated Monday on the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.  The Capitol and Cordell Hull Building have already been closed to the public and now the Legislature will recess after this week for at least eight weeks and maybe longer if needed.  The CDC has also recommended that we should have a gathering of no more than 10 until this pandemic is under control.

“We will be passing a preliminary budget this week, so the government can continue without interruption in case we are not able to meet before the next fiscal year which begins on July 1,” said Powers.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/17/2020-NOON)
