LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A car and a small pick-up truck collided around 7 am this morning on West Central Ave. at 11th St.

No one was seriously injured although one person was temporarily trapped.

The driver of the pick up truck told WLAF News that “he was headed west on West Central when a car pulled out from North 11th Street.  He said there was nothing he could do.”  The passenger in the car said, “We were headed that way (toward La Follette), and I was knocked around some.”

Traffic was backed up in both directions as westbound travelers were funneled down to one lane to bypass a lot of glass in the street and the pick-up truck.  Eastbound traffic was sent across South 13th St. and down West Beech St.
