LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Sheriff’s Investigators executed a narcotics search warrant at a La Follette home this morning.    Around 9 am at 131 Gennie Lane is where investigators and the Sheriff’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team converged.  The weapons and tactics team was on hand to secure the scene which is just off Whitman Hollow Road.

At the home, the residence of David and Amber Taylor, is where investigators tell WLAF that they made several buys over the past few months.  Buys included that of a schedule II controlled substance based on the report.  This morning, investigators recovered schedule II (oxycodone).

Sheriff Robbie Goins said, “This investigation stems from information gathered from a previous warrant that was executed on Sept. 10 at 245 College Park Road. in La Follette.”  According to sheriff’s officials, David and Amber Taylor are facing charges, and this case will be presented to the Campbell County Grand Jury.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/13/2019-NOON)
