LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – ROTECH in LaFollette is ready with all a variety of medical equipment and oxygen needs. The company offers a wide variety of services for patients from oxygen set ups to CPAP machines to afflo vests to wheel chairs, hospital beds, wound care and more. They accept all insurances except VA and is a preferred source for Humana plans.
Rotech services all of Tennessee, Virginia and Bell County, Ky residents. They also have a Tazewell location as well.
They are the only Durable Medical Equipment company in the area that does wound VACs (Vacuum-assisted closure of a wound), which is a new service they have been offering for the last two months.
“This is a good peace of mind for our patients to be able to offer that service here and all through the tri-state area,” said wound care specialist and sales leader Starla Baird-Berry. She will soon be traveling to Virginia for a clinic to work with black lung doctors.
“This is an important focus for the tri-state area,” Berry said.
The LaFollette Rotech location has two respiratory therapists on site including Mandi Hammac and location manager Shan Ray.
“We are here to serve our patients,” Ray said.
Rotech offers respiratory services such as home oxygen therapy, CarePlus overnight oximetry, airway clearance therapy with Afflovest, and nebulizers. The company also has a SleepWell Sleep Apnea Program that offers screening and diagnostic coordination, CPAP and bi-level therapy, sleep therapy compliance monitoring and supply management and replacement. Rotech can coordinate with patients to conduct an in-home sleep study as well. Home Medical equipment includes negative pressure wound therapy, homecare beds and accessories and wheel chairs and accessories.
