LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputies are actively searching for Joe Ted Kitts at this hour on this rainy morning.  Just before 8 am on Friday, officers were in the process of executing a narcotics search warrant on Kitts at his tire shop on Old Jacksboro Pike.  Officials say that’s when a man, believed to be Kitts, took off on foot out a back door of the building.

The shop backs up to the railroad tracks and is close to the Skyway Bridge where the old road meets the four lane.  At last report, the pursuit was along the railroad tracks.

The 35-year- old Kitts of La Follette was arrested by La Follette Police on a felony theft warrant in September at his business. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/22/2019-10:35AM)
