LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – According to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department, Trevon Michael Gioieni, 22, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault in relation to the shooting that occurred in the Glade Springs area on Monday night.According to Justin Letner with the sheriff’s department, the shooting happened at 1188 Glade Springs Road at around 8 p.m.

The victim, Jacob Goodman, was shot in each leg. He was transported to Tennova Medical and then later ground transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.

“It appears to be an argument that turned violent and went from verbal to physical,” Letner said.

Originally from California, Gioieni had been living in the area. No bond has been set yet in his case. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/19/2019-11:45AM)
