DUFF, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy John Minor went to Catula Road on Monday about Hollie Ann Minton being on the property. He had warned her on Oct. 5 that if she came to the property she would be arrested for criminal trespassing, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.

Minor passed Minton on Highway 25W as she was driving a white BMW with the windshield busted on the driver’s side and he knew her license was revoked. He turned around, initiating lights and sirens for several miles attempting to catch her, but was unable to do so. Minor was able to see her pass an 18-wheeler that was in front of Minton which was traveling the speed limit. He could not locate the BMW and issued a be-on-the-lookout  (BOLO) to LaFollette Police who made contact with the vehicle at Tank Springs at the end of North Tennessee Avenue.

When asked why she ran, Minton allegedly said she never saw Minor turn around and allegedly admitted passing the 18-wheeler.

Minton, 33, 1233 Duff Road, Duff is charged with driving while revoked (4th offense), felony evading arrest, drivers to exercise due care and criminal trespassing.
