JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Chamber of Commerce’s first Dragon Hunt winds down on Friday.  The hunt is a “family shop local scavenger hunt” of participating businesses in Campbell County.  The fun begins at the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce where participants receive a map and passport for the event.

Miss Willow is the first hunter to complete the full passport for the inaugural Dragon Hunt.

Through Fri., Oct. 25, shoppers will search for the green dragon in each listed business. Businesses can stamp passports as well as give out small treats and prizes. Shoppers will turn in the completed passports at the chamber on Fri., Oct. 25 and receive a pumpkin.

The Dragon Hunt theme originated from the “green dragon” that is a Campbell County staple for exit 134.  Adults and kids alike recognize the dragon on their way off the interstate headed home.

More than 20 businesses are taking part, according to Christie Elkins, the chamber director.   (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/24/2019-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FACEBOOK PAGE)
