LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – One person was injured in a Thursday morning wreck on Old Middlesboro Highway involving two pick-up trucks.  Reports from the Tennessee Highway Patrol detail that one driver was injured while the  other was not injured with those two people being involved in the accident.Trooper Freels said a 2012 Chevy Silverado, driven by 46-year- old Joseph Finger of Greenback, was headed east near West Drive on Old Middlesboro Highway while a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by 23-year- old Dalton Brantley of La Follette, was  traveling westbound on Old Highway 63 near West Drive just before 9 am on Thursday morning.  He adds that the Chevy failed to yield to oncoming traffic and attempted to turn left into a private drive and was impacted by the Dodge.  Both trucks ended up in the eastbound lane with the Chevy facing south and the Dodge facing west.

According to 911 reports, the mishap was near the old Webb’s Deli, and that Finger was flown out by a medical helicoptor.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/21/2019-6AM)
