LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A head on collision happened just after 4:30 pm Wednesday afternoon on Loop Road.

As a result, one driver was taken to the hospital while the other driver was taken to jail, according to reports.

The pick up truck and the compact car collided near the old Fordtown Baptist Church and each ended up on church grounds.

A witness was driving his company truck and attempted to turn around to go help and ended up in a ditch.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/16/2019-5:45PM)
