JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Chamber of Commerce will host its first Dragon Hunt starting today. The hunt is a “family shop local scavenger hunt” of participating businesses in Campbell County.    Participants will begin at the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce where they will receive a map and passport for the event. Between Monday, Oct. 7 and 25 (Friday) shoppers will search for the green dragon in each listed business. Businesses can stamp passports as well as giving out small treats and prizes. Shoppers will turn in the completed passports at the chamber on Friday, Oct. 25 and receive a pumpkin.

The Dragon Hunt theme originated from the “green dragon” that is a Campbell County staple for exit 134.  Adults and kids alike recognize the dragon on their way off the interstate headed home.

More than 20 businesses have signed up to take part, according to Christie Elkins, the chamber director.
