Postmark LaFollette to host a writer’s guild

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Calling all writers and mark the calendar for Sept. 19 at 6 pm.

Postmark LaFollette will host its inaugural meeting of the Postmark LaFollette Writers Guild. The meeting will be held at 119 S. Tennessee Ave. and will last until approximately 8 pm. During this meeting participants will discuss their goals for individual writing projects.

Carol McClain will be the facilitator for the meetings.  She is a published author and has taught English for 30 years. There will also be a variety of talented individuals that have written poetry and plays among the group and can offer additional support.

As the participants spend more time together, they will be able to determine how the group will evolve.  Participants will discuss all types of writing, from writing a story, music, a poem or develop a full-length script for a future play, if they want to work in teams, try a little of everything or stay true to their first love.
